2018-19: Led the team with a 12.0 PPG average in 25 games played on the season ... started 13 contests on the year ... shot 40% (119-298) from the field and pulled down an average of 3.3 rebounds per game ... accumulated 34 assists, 17 steals and 15 blocks as well ...  reached double-figure point totals in 18 different contests including a season-high 24 points at Roberts Wesleyan on Jan. 11 ... posted an 18-point, 10-rebound game in the team's win over Bridgeport (12/15) ... went 8-for-13 (62%) from the floor and finished with 19 points in a contest at Concordia (NY) on Nov. 30 ... finished the year with six straight games of double-digit points, including a 12-point and seven-rebound effort against UDC (3/2).

2017-2018: Made 21 appearances with fifteen starts in his first season with the Knights…Averaged 8.0 points per game while shooting 44.4% from the field…Recorded 2.2 rebounds per game and 1.5 assists per game…Erupted for a season high 31 points against Holy Family (11/26)…Shot 60% from the floor, going 5-of-7 from three in a game against Roberts Wesleyan (1/19)…Had 19 points and seven rebounds in a game at STAC (1/30).

Prior to Queens: Was Second-Team All-Long Island at Baldwin High School and also served as team captain for the Bruins basketball team.

Personal: Parents are James and Barbara Bovell ... has one older sister, Brittani ... enjoys playing soccer ... hopes to play basketball overseas or work in a field of science after graduation.
