BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Oct. 22, 2019) - The Queens College volleyball team totaled 27 digs in the Knights' three-set loss to Bridgeport on Tuesday evening (Oct. 22) in an East Coast Conference contest at Harvey Hubbell Gymnasium. QC fell by scores of 25-7, 25-5, and 25-9 and the Knights are now 2-14 on the season and 0-6 in ECC action while Bridgeport improved to 19-5 overall with a 5-1 record in conference competition.

Knights That Shined

• The Knights were stymied on the offensive end, only achieving eight kills in the three matches. Briana Green was the team leader with three kills while Alexis Deodat and Lauren Kehoe each added two kills.
• Alisha Matthews dished out five assists to go with five digs.
• Jessica Yin led Queens with seven digs and Danielle Naggar added six digs on defense.

Up Next on the Docket

Queens will host four games in the final five on the season, beginning with a Wednesday evening contest on Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. as the Knights host the Lions of Georgian Court University.
