DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Oct. 16, 2019) - Senior outside hitter
Lauren Kehoe led the Queens College volleyball team with ten kills on an evening in which the Knights were turned away from their first conference victory by Mercy College. The Mavericks took a three-set sweep (25-15, 25-19, 25-11) from QC at Victory Gymnasium in Dobbs Ferry on Wednesday (Oct. 16) to drop Queens to a 1-13 record and an 0-5 mark in East Coast Conference play.
Knights That Shined
- Kehoe's ten kills came on a .222 hitting percentage with five digs and three block assists in the team's effort.
- Dee-Ana Mitchell had nine kills with six digs, posting a .240 hitting percentage.
- On the defensive side, Danielle Naggar had a team-high nine digs while setter Alisha Matthews collected five digs to go along with twenty assists on the night.

Queens will host Concordia (NY) on Saturday (Oct. 19) at 12 p.m. at Fitzgerald Gymnasium. The Knights' contest on Saturday will be the team's Dig Pink event for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
