FLUSHING, N.Y. (Oct. 12, 2019) - The Queens College volleyball team steadily improved in each set of its match on Saturday (Oct. 12) with Flagler College, although it was the Saints that would cruise to a three-set victory in non-region play at Fitzgerald Gymnasium. The visitors from Florida knocked off QC by counts of 25-10, 25-15 and 25-21.

Flagler improves to 12-6 overall and completes its New York trip with wins over Adelphi, Molloy and Queens. The Knights fall to 1-12 on the season.

Knights That Shined

• Lauren Kehoe brought back a spark to the offense as she returned to the Knights' rotation with seven kills on a .333 hitting percentage. The senior also added six digs.
• QC's offense also featured four kills apiece from Dee-Ana Mitchell and Briana Green, with Alisha Matthews posting an 18-assist afternoon in the effort.
• Both Angie Nicholes and Danielle Naggar collected a team-high nine digs on defense for the Knights.
