FLUSHING, N.Y. - The Queens College men's tennis team advanced to the ECC Championship final with a 5-1 victory over District of Columbia in the semifinal round held at the QC Tennis Center.

The Knights set the tone with two wins in doubles.  The #1 duo of Sharvill Nawghre and Roman Laga won 8-1, before Federico Toscano and Ryan Frankel won in #3 doubles by the same score.

Nawghre picked up a win by forfeit in #1 singles, before wins by Laga in #4 singles (6-3, 6-0) and Lucas Martinez in #5 singles (6-1, 6-0) sealed the match.  Queens additionally held leads in the three unfinished matched.

QC will face off against NYIT in the finals Saturday afternoon at 12:00 pm.
