FLUSHING, N.Y. - The Queens College men's tennis team topped Merrimack by a score of 8-1 Saturday afternoon in a non-league match.  The Knights picked up wins in two of the three doubles matches, before sweeping singles 6-0.

The first doubles tandem of Sharvill Nawghre and Roman Laga won by a score of 8-4.  In third doubles, the team of Ryan Frankel and Federico Toscano prevailed 8-4.

In singles, Nawghre (1st), Camilo Arias (5th) and Toscano (6th) all won in straight sets.  Frankel (2nd), Gabriel Mendez (3rd) and Laga (4th) won in three sets, with Laga taking his final set 12-10.

The Knights are back in action Tuesday, Mar. 15 at home against Post.
