QUEENS, N.Y. - The Queens College volleyball team dropped a four set match to Dowling in East Coast Conference action Thursday evening at Fitzgerald Gymnasium.

The Lions took set one 25-21 before grabbing set two by the score of 25-17.  The Knights countered with a 25-18 win in set three before Dowling closed out the contest in set four 25-18.

Senior Bianca Steele led QC with 12 kills in the game, while senior Arielle DiCocco and junior Tori Bowser had 10 kills apiece.  Senior Else Buchmiller led the Knights with 12 digs, while sophomore Jessica Yin posted 33 assists.

For the Lions, Jessica Kalbfleisch registered 14 kills, while Nicole Parkas led the team with 12 digs.  Kayla Dillman posted 27 assists for Dowling.

Queens is back in action Saturday evening at 6:30 pm, when it travels to Caldwell for a non-conference tilt.
