FLUSHING, N.Y. – Looking to close out their season on a high note, the Queens College women's volleyball team welcomed the St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartans to Fitzgerald Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon for an East Coast Conference matchup.
It was an all-around effort from rookie setter
Kylynn White (Chicago, IL), senior outside hitter
Kendall Conrad (Carrolltown, PA), and senior middle blocker
Maya Angelova (Kyustendil, Bulgaria), who combined for 25 kills to lead the Knights to a thrilling 3-0 sweep and earned Queens' 10th victory of the year.

The opening frame was a back-and-forth battle with the teams splitting the first 14 points. After Queens edged ahead 9–7, the Spartans responded with a 5–0 run to go up 12–9. Kills from Osterhoudt and White helped the Knights trim the deficit to one at 13–12.
STAC pushed the lead to 16–13, but a kill from Conrad ignited a decisive 12–5 surge. Behind eight straight serves from sophomore outside hitter
Sophie Schonauer (Bakersfield, CA), the Knights closed out the set 25–21 to take a 1–0 match lead.
The Spartans again started strong, jumping ahead 9–5 before Queens answered with an 8–2 run powered by six kills to claim a 13–11 advantage.
After STAC pulled even at 16–16, Angelova delivered a momentum-shifting kill that launched a 9–4 closing run. Queens secured the set 25–20 to go up 2–0.
The Knights dominated early, racing out to a 9–3 lead and never allowing the Spartans back into the frame. Queens posted 10 kills and held STAC to a -.114 hitting percentage en route to a 25–18 win, sealing the 3–0 sweep.

- White tallied nine kills on a hitting percentage of .412 to go with 10 assists, five digs, and one block.
- Conrad tallied eight kills and two digs.
