Men's Tennis Falls to NYIT in ECC Final, 5-0

Flushing, N.Y. - The Queens College men's tennis team saw its season come to an end on Saturday with a 5-0 loss to NYIT in the East Coast Conference championship.  Despite the loss, the team still finished the season with double-digit wins, three All Conference selections and the ECC Coach of the Year.

The team of Christopher Baron and Lucas Martinez played to a tie-breadk in doubles, before falling 9-8 (7-2).  Baron led the way for the Knights in singles play, winning four games in the opening set before the match was concluded.

The Queens College men's tennis team now has to wait and see if they will receive an invitation bid to compete in the NCAA Championship.
