Oakdale, N.Y. - The Queens College volleyball team lost to Dowling College in three sets, in a match played in Oakdale, New York, on Thursday.  The scores of the sets were 25-14, 25-22 and 25-22.

The opening set saw both teams share the first ten points to be all square at 5-5.  The Knights got their points from a pair of Tori Bowser kills, a Francesca Indoni kill, an Else Buchmiller kill and an error from Dowling.  From there, the Golden Lions used an 11-1 run to take a 16-6 lead.  They took the first set 25-14.

Set two say seven ties with the last one coming at 13-all.  Dowling put the set away with a Cassy Kelly kill.  They took set three,25-22.

With the loss, the Knights fall to 10-12 overall, 4-10 in the East Coast Conference.  The team returns to action on Saturday, November 16, when they host Daemen at 1:00 PM.
