The Knights were beaten by nationally ranked Dowling College in three games in an ECC contest played in Oakdale, New York on Thursday. Dowling currently sits at # 24 in the Division II Women's Volleyball rankings.

The scores of the match were 25-15, 25-9 and  25-14.

One bright spot for QC was the play of sophomore middle blocker Crystal Gordon. The Kingston, Jamaica native led the Knights attack with 10 kills on 17 attempts, good for a kill percentage of .412. Lisa Marie Papenthin added a team leading 13 digs for Queens College, who take to the road tomorrow to play three games in two days at the East Stroudsburg Tournament.
