Queens College wrapped up their 2010 season tonight with a loss to C.W Post University 3-0. With the loss the Knights Fall to 9-16 overall (4-8 ECC) while the Pioneers improve to 20-11 (6-6 ECC).
Tonight's game against Post was the last home game of the 2010 season as well as Queens College's senior night. The Knight's graduated outside hitter from Castries, St. Lucia, Lotoya Edward. Lotoya an economics major and this year's team captain started every game she dressed in as a Knight in her three years here and tonight was no different. Edward was the lone bright spot in tonight's loss leading the team in digs with 13. Queens College would like to thank Lotoya for her productivity on and off the court as a student-athlete and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
As for the Knights the loss drops them one spot out of playoff contention with the Pioneers claiming the fourth spot in the ECC and the last spot in the playoffs. Queens will have to wait until next year to make a run at the post season.
