MIDDLEBURY, CT. – Continuing Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play, the Queens College women's tennis team faced Post University Tuesday afternoon at Edgewood Bath & Tennis Center.
The Knights swept all nine courts en route to a 7-0 victory.
With the victory, Queens improves to 3-0 overall and 3-0 in CACC play.
Doubles Recap
The Knights opened doubles play as the No. 1 pairing of sophomore
Ela Vasic and rookie
Vilte Vaitkeviciute defeated Ana Vasilis and Juana Espana, 6-0.
Queens clinched the doubles point as the No. 2 pairing of senior
Lilie Bizouerne and junior
Johanne Genestay earned a 6-0 victory over Laura Kotala and Savannah Croft.
The Knights completed the doubles sweep as the No. 3 pairing of rookie
Elise Bosmans and sophomore
Anishka Amalnathan defeated Julie Merlin and Bintu Drame, 6-4, to take a 1-0 lead into singles play.

Bizouerne opened singles play with a dominant 6-0, 6-0 victory over Espana at No. 2 singles.
Vasic extended the Knights' lead to 3-0 with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Vasilis at No. 1 singles.
Bosmans clinched the team victory at No. 4 singles, defeating Kotala, 6-1, 6-3.
With the team victory already clinched, Amalnathan earned a 6-0, 6-4 victory over Merlin at No. 3 singles.
Graduate student
Kayla Taszymowicz defeated Croft, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 5 singles before fellow graduate student
Allycia Santa-Cruz completed the sweep with a three-set, 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 (10-2), victory over Drame at No. 6 singles.
Next Match
Queens opens a two-match homestand Thursday, Sept. 17, as the Knights welcome Thomas Jefferson University to town. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m.
