NEW HAVEN, CT. – On Monday, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced its first women's tennis weekly award of the season, with senior Sixtine Goubet named Player of the Week for her performances during the week of Sept. 7-13.
 
In a 2-0 week for the Knights, Goubet went 4-0. She opened the season with victories at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles as Queens earned a thrilling 4-3 victory over Jefferson. Goubet closed out the week with another 2-0 day, earning a 6-0 shutout victory at No. 2 doubles before securing a thrilling 6-2, 7-6 (9-7) victory over UDC's Polina Zelentsova at No. 1 singles.

Queens hits the road Tuesday, Sept. 15, traveling to Waterbury, Conn., for a conference tilt against the Post University Eagles. First serve is set for 3:00 p.m.
