Women’s Soccer Announces 2025 Schedule

FLUSHING, N.Y. – Entering his fourth season at the helm, Queens College women's soccer head coach Thomas Paris has announced the 2025 schedule.
 
In 2024, the Knights put together a 10-7-1 record, a 4-3 East Coast Conference record with a third place finish in the conference standings. Over the season, the Knights would post a 6-4-1 record in Flushing and a 4-3 record on the road as Queens advanced to the ECC postseason tournament for the second consecutive year en route to winning their first postseason match in program history and making their first ECC semifinal appearance since the 2013 season.
 
A total of 16 matches (seven East Coast Conference matches) are set for the 2025 regular season, which includes eight matches in Flushing and eight matches on the road.
 
Paris and the Knights will match up against 12 teams that made postseason appearances, including two defending conference champions and the defending East Regional champions.
 
Along with the seven ECC matches, the Knights' non-conference slate features one match against one Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) foe, three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) foes, and four Northeast-10 Conference (NE10) opponents.
 
The regular season officially kicks off in Flushing on Thursday, Sept. 4 as Queens welcomes PSAC member Bloomsburg University Huskies who are coming off a 9-5-5 season and made the PSAC WSOC tournament.
 
On Sunday, Sept. 7, the Knights hit the road for the first time as they travel to Orangeburg, N.Y. against CACC member Dominican University of New York Chargers. The Chargers compiled a record of 8-9-2 and advanced to the CACC Semifinals.
 
Following the local road trip, Paris and the Knights open a tough two-match stand against two teams that made the NCAA East Regional tournament.
 
On Wednesday, Sept. 10, the Knights welcome defending East Regional Champions and NE10 Champions in Franklin Pierce University Ravens to Flushing. En route to a championship season and a trip to the NCAA Semi-Final match, Franklin Pierce concluded the season with a record of 20-4-1. Both sides are matching up against each other for the third straight season and back-to-back seasons in Flushing.
 
Queens will then travel to Waltham, Mass. on Saturday, Sept. 13 as they match up against NE10 member Bentley University Falcons. The Falcons advanced to the NE10 semifinal and earned an At-Large bid to the NCAA East Regional Tournament to conclude the season with an overall record of 8-4-7.
 
Following a week off, Queens opens ECC play on Saturday, Sept. 20 as they welcome the Saints of D'Youville University to town. The Saints concluded the 2024 season with an overall record of 1-12-2.
 
Queens returns to non-conference action with a midweek trip to Pleasantville, N.Y. on Tuesday, Sept. 23 as they match up against NE10 member Setters of Pace University. The Setters concluded last season with an overall record of 4-8-5.
 
A season-best two-match homestand opens starting on Saturday, Sept. 27 as the Knights return to ECC play hosting the Mavericks of Mercy University. The Mavericks finished the 2024 season with a record of 10-8-2 and advanced to the ECC semifinals,
 
The homestand will conclude on Wednesday, Oct. 1 as Queens welcomes NE10 member Southern Connecticut State University Owls to town in non-conference play. The Owls concluded the 2024 season with an overall record of 6-6-6 and earned a NE10 postseason WSOC Tournament appearance.
 
Queens will conclude the week in Amherst, N.Y. as they match up against the Wildcats of Daemen University in ECC play and a rematch of the 2024 ECC semifinal. The Wildcats concluded the year with an overall record of 9-9 and advanced to the ECC Championship match.
 
A two-match homestand opens as the Knights return to non-conference play on Wednesday, Oct. 8 as the Eagles of Post University visit Flushing. Eagles concluded last season with an overall record of 2-13.
 
The week concludes in ECC play on Saturday, Oct. 11 as the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College come to town. The Spartans concluded the 2024 season with an overall record of 3-10-3 and made the ECC WSOC Tournament.
 
A season-high four-match road stand opens beginning with a trip to Worcester, MA as the Knights match up against Assumption University Greyhounds on Tuesday, Oct. 15 in non-conference play. The Greyhounds concluded 2024 with an overall record of 7-5-6 and made the NE10 WOSC Tournament.
 
Returning to ECC play, Queens heads to Staten Island, N.Y. on Saturday, Oct. 18 as they match up against College of Staten Island Dolphins before a midweek trip takes Paris and the Knights to Rockville Centre, N.Y. against defending ECC Champions Lions of Molloy University on Wednesday, Oct. 22. The Dolphins concluded 2024 with an overall record of 0-12-3, while the Lions went 12-5-2 as they went on to win the ECC Championship and a trip to the NCAA East Regional Tournament.
 
The final non-conference road match of the year sees Queens head to Caldwell, N.J. on Saturday, Oct. 25 against the Caldwell University Cougars. The Cougars went 12-5-2 in 2024 and advanced to the CACC Championship match.
 
The regular season concludes in Flushing on Saturday, Nov. 1 as the Knights welcome Roberts Wesleyan University Redhawks to town in ECC play. The Redhawks concluded the year with an overall record of 5-10-1 and made the ECC WSOC postseason tournament.

East Coast Conference Postseason Tournament

The top six teams in the conference standings will advance to the ECC Women's Soccer Tournament. The First Round matches will take place on Thursday, Nov. 6 with the #3 and #4 seeds playing host to #5 and #6 seed, Semifinal match on Sunday, Nov. 9 at the site of #1 and #2 seed and Final to be played on Sunday, Nov. 16 at the site of the highest seed remaining.
