INDIANAPOLIS – For the 23
rd time in program history, the Queens College women's tennis team is dancing!
On Monday, May 5 the NCAA announced the Field of 48 to the NCAA Women's Tennis Tournament, and head coach
Alan Nagel and the Knights have earned the #2 seed in the East Region.
The Knights' quest to the Women's Tennis Championship Tournament in Altamonte Springs, FL will run through #3 seed Wilmington University Wildcats on Tuesday, May 13 in Newark, Del.
Queens will matchup against the Wildcats for the second time this year having earned a 7-0 victory back on Mar. 26 in Flushing.
Queens enters the tournament with an overall record of 9-5 and a Division II record of 9-3.
The Knights clinched the automatic bid to the big dance on October 26, 2024, by winning their 10
th East Coast Conference title in program history.

Saga Berggren (Uddevalla, Sweden) and junior
Regina Ruiz (Mexico City, Mexico) earned All-ECC honors.
Nagel and the Knights are looking to clinch their second straight appearance to the Women's Tennis Championship Bracket in Altamonte Springs, FL at Sanlando Park from Tuesday, May 20 – Saturday, May 24.
