COLONIA, NJ. – In the 15^th East Coast Conference women's basketball weekly report sheet released Monday (Feb. 24) afternoon, Queens College women's basketball sophomore forward Nkiru Awaka (Hyde Park, N.Y.) was named to the Honor Roll sheet.
 
For the 10^th time this season, Awaka has found a spot on the weekly award sheet.
 
Awaka averaged 15.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 1.0 blocks in a 1-1 week for the Knights. Awaka recorded 18 points on 62.5 % shooting, nine rebounds, one steal, one block and one assist against Mercy Wednesday evening. On Saturday in the ECC series sweep over the Spartans the Hyde Park native recorded her 11^th double-double of the year with 13 points and 12 rebounds to go with two steals and one block as Queens earned a defensive victory over STAC.

NEXT GAME

It's a two-game road trip to conclude the regular season as the Knights head to Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, Feb. 26 as they match up against the Firebirds of the University of the District of Columbia. Tip-off is set for 5:30 pm.
