NEWARK, N.J. – Continuing their preparations for the East Coast Conference championship, the Queens College men's and women's cross country teams travel to Branch Brook Park on Saturday to compete in the 21
st annual NJIT Invitational.
The Men's side placed 11
th out of 17, while the women's side placed ninth out of 14.
5K Women's Highlights
- Senior Rachel Mow led the Knights with a strong performance, placing 15th overall with a career-best time of 19:30.4.
- Sophomore Keira Whitaker followed with a 42nd place finish in 21:35.6.
- Senior Brianna Call placed 57th with a time of 23:28.1.
- Senior Maria Flores crossed the line in 24:42.3, finishing 72nd.
- Senior Jennifer Salazar recorded a time of 24:45.8, while freshman Kezia Hamilton completed the scoring with a time of 27:34.8.

NEXT MEET:
The final preparation before the championship meet sees both squads head to Kings Park, N.Y. on Saturday, Oct. 18 as they compete in the Invitational at Sunken Meadow State Park.
