Men’s Ray Paces Cross Country at Golden Eagles Invitational Saturday in Bethpage with Third Place Finish

BETHPAGE, N.Y. – Returning to Bethpage State Park for their second cross country meet of the year, the Queens College Men's and Women's Cross Country program competed in the Golden Eagles Invitational hosted by St. Joseph's College – L.I.
 

Women's Highlights

  • Rachel Mow paced the side with a top-10 finish to place seventh with a time of 20:31.7.
  • Joy Leong placed 50th with a time of 24:22.6 and recorded a new personal best.
  • Maria Flores finished the course in 27:41.0, while Madelyn McMath recorded a time of 27.47.2 to conclude the meet on the women's side.

Men's Highlights

  • John Ray paced the Knights with a third-place finish and recorded a career-best time of 26:22.4 in the meet.
  • Daniel DeGregori recorded a career-best time of 27:31.3 to earn an 11th-place finish.
  • Dean Tirado recorded a PR of 28:34.1 to earn a 28th-place finish.
  • Peter Hoffmann was the fourth Knights to record a PR as he placed 45th with a time of 29:54.1.
  • While Musa Mazreku making his Knights debut recorded a 51st-place finish with a time of 30:27.5.
  • Kyle Daniels completed the course in 31:22.6.

Next Meet:

The Knights will now use the next two weeks to prepare for the Queensborough Invitational to be hosted at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx on Sunday, Oct. 6 by Queensborough Community College.
