WEST HAVEN, CT. – Continuing their outdoor season the Queens College men's and women's track and field teams made the trip to West Haven, CT on Saturday to compete in the Jack Maloney Invitational hosted by Southern Connecticut State University.  
 

Men's Highlights

1. In the 100m Dash freshman Diara Guy placed eighth with a time of 11.05 and fourth in the 200m Dash with a time of 22.66.
2. In the 400m Dash, Daniel Fuzailof placed 11^th with a time of 54.03.
3. In the 1500m Run, freshman Daniel DeGregori placed ninth with a time of 4:25.27.
4. In the 5000m Run, junior John Ray placed second with a time of 16:04.73.
5. In the 110m Hurdles, sophomore Damilola Babalola placed seventh with a time of 16.09  before recording a career-best time in the 400H with a time of 59.75 to place ninth.
6. In the 3000m Steeplechase junior Peter Hoffmann placed sixth with a time of 11:33.78.
7. In the 4x100 Relay, the team of Kadeem Patterson, junior Justin Eweka, Fuzailof, and Guy placed third with a time of 44.64.
8. In the Javelin Throw senior Matthew Castro placed sixth with a mark of 39.92m.

 Women's Highlights

1. In the 1500m sophomore Rachel Mow placed seventh with a time of 5:25.72.
2. In the 5000m Run, sophomore Joy Leong placed third with a time of 22:26.71.
3. In the 3000m Steeplechase junior Andrea Rivera placed second with a time of 16:13.41.
4. In the 800m Run sophomore Ashley Rodriguez placed eighth with a time of 3:06.47.
5. In the 4x400 Relay, the team of Khareena Primus, Mahaillia Spencer, Fatima Morrobel, and Hayley Matthews placed second place with a time of 4:20.44.
6. In the field events sophomore Madelyn McMath placed ninth with a mark of 9.69m in the Shot Put, second in the Javelin Throw with a mark of 30.96m, and placed 19^th in the Discus with a throw of 20.67m.
