FLUSHING, N.Y. – It was a heartbreaking overtime loss to conclude their three-game homestand, but the Queens College women's basketball team will look to bounce back as they open a four-game road stand.
The road stand opens on Friday (Feb. 16) evening with a trip to Rochester, N.Y. as the Knights conclude the two-game series against the Redhawks of Roberts Wesleyan University.
Queens College Knights Preview
- The Knights fell in their second overtime game of the year with a loss to Molloy last Wednesday in East Coast Conference play.
- Sophomore guard Brianna Davis (Bronx, N.Y.) leads the offense averaging 15.3 points, and 5.7 rebounds to go with 2.5 assists and 2.6 steals per game with two double-doubles on the year.
- Davis recorded her second double-double of the year with a career-high 31 points to go with 10 rebounds and four steals against Mercy (1.31)
- On Monday (Feb. 5) Davis was awarded her second ECC Player & Defensive Player of the Week honors.

- Awaka has tallied seven double-doubles on the year with a career-best 29 points (vs. Wilmington), 19 rebounds (vs. STAC), three blocks (vs. Caldwell), & four steals (vs. Felician)
- On Monday (Jan. 29) afternoon Awaka would earn her eighth ECC Rookie of the Week honors.

- Abrams tallied a career-high 32 points against Molloy (Feb. 7)
- On Monday (Feb. 12) afternoon Abrams earned third ECC Rookie of the Week Honors.

- Roberts Wesleyan enters the week with an overall record of 5-13 and 1-6 in ECC play and are coming off a loss to St. Thomas Aquinas College on Sunday afternoon.
- Friday's meeting will be the second meeting of the year and the 23rd overall with the Knights leading the series 14-8.
- The Knights are looking to earn their first series sweep since the 2016-17 season and earn their first win in Rochester since the 2017-18 season when they earned a 57-55 victory on February 16, 2018.
- Danielle DiCintio leads the offense averaging 11.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
- Georgia Haverlock is averaging 10.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
