STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Queens College men's and women's Indoor Track and field season returned to action Friday (Jan. 5) afternoon competing in the Wagner College Invitational at Ocean Breeze Complex in Staten Island.
 

Men's Highlights

1. Kadeem Patterson recorded two career-best times with 7.31 in the 60 meter dash and 23.79 in the 200 meter dash.
2.  Damilola Babalola notched a career-best time of 9.14 in 60 meter Hurdles and 7.47 in the 60 meter dash.
3. Hakeem Griffiths recorded a time of 24.65 in the 200 meter dash.
   1. While in the triple jump, Griffiths placed 3^rd with a jump of 12.47m.
4. Daniel Fuzailof recorded a time of 53.52 in the 400 meter dash.
5. In the triple jump, Juan Cruz Ladino earned a jump of 12.09m to place sixth.
6. Matthew Castro recorded two career-best throws in the shot put with a distance of 9.58m and 9.50 in the weight throw event.
7. In the 3000 meter run, Abdi Mohamed notched a new PR of 9:51.83 on the day. 

Women's Highlights

1. Maria Flores recorded two new PRs with a 9.76 in the 60 meter dash and a time of 32.08 in the 200 meter dash.
2. Moisa Moneus made her season debut in the 200 meter dash and recorded a time of 31.01.
3. Fatima Morrobel placed sixth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:26.62.
4. While Rachel Mow earned a time of 2:46.24 in the 800 meter run.
5. Joy Leong tallied a career-best time of 6:35.04 in the Mile Run.
