kSTATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Queens College men's and women's Indoor Track and field team returned to action Friday (Jan. 12) afternoon competing in the St. Aquinas College Spartan Invitational at Ocean Breeze Complex in Staten Island.
 

Men's Highlights

1. Damilola Babalola notched a time of 9.19 in the 60m Hurdles.
2. Kadeem Patterson notched a career-best time of 23.28 in the 200m Dash, while Zack Sow recorded a time of 25.53 to set a new career-best time.
3. In the 3000m run, Kyle Daniels completed the laps in 10:29.36 setting a new career high.
4. In the One Mile Run, Abdi Mohamed notched a time of 4:53.72, while John Ray completed the laps in 4:54.91 and Peter Hoffmann in 5:05.71.
5. Daniel Fuzailof recorded a time of 53.77 in the 400 meter dash.
6. While in the Long Jump event, Sow had a mark of 6.17m for a new career-best, while Hakeem Griffiths had a mark of 5.64m.
   1. In the Triple Jump Griffiths recorded a jump of 12.08m
7. In the 1000m Run, Anthony Lopez recorded a time of 2:49.11 to set a new career-high, while Daniels notched a time of 3:03.83 and Paulo Criollo had a time of 3:13.92.

Women's Highlights

1. Nicole Colombi completed the 800m run with a time of 2:52.87.
2. Andrea Rivera completed the 800m run with a time of 3:09.61.
3. In the throw events, Madelyn McMath recorded a throw of 7.29m in the Shot Put, while in the Weight Throw, McMath had a distance throw of 6.82m.
4. In the 3000m run, Ashley Rodriguez Perez rounded the track in 14:10.74.
5. Competing the 4000m Distance Medley Relay for the first time for the first time season, the team of McMath, Moisa Moneus, Fatima Morrobel, and Rachel Mow rounded the track in 14:25.12.
