EWING, N.J. – Continuing their season, the Queens College men's and women's outdoor track and field traveled to Ewing, N.J. to compete in the TCNJ invitational hosted by the College of New Jersey.
On the men's side,
Valeriy Borkun (White Plains, N.Y.) placed 12
th with a time of 12.51 in the 100m dash timed final to set a new personal best.
While
Myles Jackson (San Juan, Trinidad, and Tobago) placed 15
th in the 400m with a career-best time of 51.38.
In the men's triple jump,
Hakeem Griffiths (Portmore, Jamaica) placed eighth as he broke his personal best jump of 12.10m with a new career-high mark of 12.27m.
While
Matthew Castro (Bayside, N.Y.) earned two career-high marks of 23.90m mark in the discus before throwing a mark of 41.27m in the Javelin event.
On the women's side,
Fatima Morrobel (Long Beach, N.Y.) placed 16
th in the 800m with a time of 2:27.72.
While
Madelyn McMath (Carmel, N.Y.) recorded a high-career mark of 31.54 in the Javelin event.
