FLUSHING, N.Y. – Continuing their season, the Queens College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed in the Pratt Dual Meet hosted by Pratt Institute Saturday morning in Flushing.
Following the conclusion of the meet, head coach
Greg Welch and the Knights were able to give their seniors a special send.
Competing against Pratt Institute and City College of New York,
Doris Desir (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) took first place in the men's 100 meters event with a time of 11.41, while
Albert Wheeler (Mastic, N.Y.) took second place with a time of 11.62.
In the 200 meters event,
Daniel Fuzailof (Queens, N.Y.) outraced his teammate placing first with a time of 23.21, while Desir and Wheeler placed a close second and third place.
While
Myles Jackson (San Juan, Trinidad, and Tobago) placed first in the men's 400 meters event with a time of 52.09.
On the women's side,
Fatima Morrobel (Long Beach, N.Y.) placed first in the 400 meters event with a time of 1:04.32.
While
Rachel Mow (Esopus, N.Y.) placed second with a time of 800 meters with a time of 2:43.72.
In the women's long jump,
Bianca Hiltz (Southwick, Mass) placed first with a jump of 4.99m.
While the women's 4x100 relay team of Mahaillia Spencer,
Khareena Primus (St. Andrew, Grenada), Jacklyn Diel (Stony Brook, N.Y.), and Hiltz took first place with a time of 52.20.
