The Wildcats would use a 6-4 run to cut the visitors' advantage down to 11-8 by the 2:24 mark before the Knights ended the first stanza on a 9-2 run to take a 20-10 lead heading into the second quarter.

It was a slow start to the second quarter as the Wildcats cut the 10-point advantage down to single digits on two separate occasions.

Queens would hold Wilmington to 11.1% shooting as they went 1-9 from the field in the second quarter, while the Knights shot 45.4% as they went 5-11 from the field for the 16-point lead at halftime.

The Knights opened the third quarter on a 6-0 run to increase their advantage to 22 points, 27-15 with 7:20 left in the third.

But despite the Wildcats shooting 38.4% from the field, Queens' hot shooting of 61.5% on 8-13 from the field ensured the Knights lead never dropped below 18 points for the remainder of the game before going on to earn a 70-40 victory Wednesday night.
