Nkiru Awaka (Hyde Park, N.Y.) was awarded her fifth Rookie of the Week honors and sophomore
Brianna Davis (Bronx, N.Y.) earned a Honor Roll spot.
While on the men's side, junior
Dante Griffin (Utica, N.Y.) earned his first spot on the men's basketball sheet of the year as the Utica native found a spot on the Honor Roll list.
Women's Basketball – Week 6

ECC Rookie of the Week – Nkiru Awaka (Freshman | Hyde Park, N.Y.)
- For the fifth time this year, the Hyde Park native has earned Rookie of the Week honors.
- Awaka averaged 21.5 points on 63.0% shooting, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks in two non-conference games on the week. She began the week recording her fourth double-double of the year with a career-high 29 points to go with 11 rebounds, three steals, and two blocks in the victory over Wilmington Wednesday evening. On Saturday afternoon against defending East Regional champions Awaka recorded a team-high 14 points, five rebounds, and one steal.

ECC Honor Roll – Brianna Davis (Sophomore | Bronx, N.Y.)
- Davis earned her second weekly award honor of the year as the sophomore found a spot on the Honor Roll sheet.
- Davis averaged 16.5 points on 50.0% shooting, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in two non-conference games on the week. Davis began the week recording her first double-double of the year with 26 points on 64.3% shooting to go with a season-high 10 rebounds, and a career-best six assists in the victory over Wilmington Wednesday evening. Against Assumption, the Bronx native tallied seven points, five rebounds, and one assist Saturday afternoon.
Men's Basketball – Week 6

ECC Honor Roll – Dante Griffin (Junior | Utica, N.Y.)
- It is the first weekly award honor for Griffin on the year.
- Junior Dante Griffin averaged 14.0 points on 52.9% shooting, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.0 steals over two non-conference games on the week. Griffin began the week recording 10 points, and three rebounds against Wilmington Wednesday evening before recording his second near triple-double of the with a season-best 18 points on 63.6% shooting, 10 rebounds, nine assists, and one steal against Saint Rose Sunday afternoon.
