WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – On Monday (Nov. 13) afternoon, the East Coast Conference announced Week 11 and final Volleyball Weekly Report Sheet, and Week 1 of the men's and women's basketball and three Queens College student-athletes were honored for their performances from Nov. 6 to Nov. 12.
 
Volleyball – Week 11


ECC Honor Roll – Christina Franco (Junior | Lynbrook, N.Y.)

• For the sixth time this season Franco has earned a weekly award honor as she earned her fifth Honor Roll spot to go with one Player of the Week honors.
• In their regular-season finale, Franco recorded her ninth double-double of the year with 14 kills and 10 digs to go with three service aces.

Women's Basketball – Week 1

ECC Rookie of the Week – Nkiru Awaka (Freshman | Hyde Park, N.Y.)

• On the first weekly women's basketball report sheet of the year, Awaka earned top Rookie honors for her performance in the CACC/ECC Conference Challenge.
• The rookie averaged 11.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in the opening two games of the year. Awaka began her Knights career recording 11 points, and eight rebounds to go with three steals against Jefferson before she tallied a career-best 12 points and nine rebounds against Chestnut Hill in the CACC/ECC Conference Challenge.

ECC Honor Roll – Sunnie Diamond (Senior | Atlanta, GA)

• On the first weekly men's basketball report sheet of the year, Diamond earned a Honor Roll spot after an excellent showing in the ECC/NE10 Conference Challenge.
• The senior guard averaged 26.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists as he recorded 52 points, 14 rebounds, and nine assists to go with four steals in the opening two games of the year. Against Pace, Diamond recorded a near triple-double with 28 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists before ending the week with 26 points, five rebounds, and two assists in the overtime victory over Adelphi.
