Women’s Basketball Announces 22-23 East Coast Conference Slate

FLUSHING, N.Y. – On Wednesday afternoon, Queens College women's basketball head coach Bet Naumovksi announced the East Coast Conference portion of the Knights' 2022-2023 schedule.
 
The 16-game ECC slate will feature eight home and away games with the Knights playing three games in December. 
 
In search of their fourth ECC title, the Knights open their conference slate with two straight road games.
 
Naumovski and her squad travel to Buffalo, N.Y. as they match up against the Saints of D'Youville University on Friday (Dec. 2) evening before concluding the trip against the defending conference champions Daemen University Wildcats on Sunday (Dec. 4) afternoon. 
 
The Wildcats are fresh off their second title in three seasons and back-to-back trips to the NCAA East Region title game. 
 
The 2022 conference slate concludes in Flushing on Friday (Dec. 9) evening as the Knights welcome the Redhawks of Roberts Wesleyan University.
 
The New year kicks off in Flushing on Wednesday (Jan. 4) evening as Queens welcome the Lions of Molloy University. 
 
Fellow CUNY member The College of Staten Island Dolphins visit Fitzgerald Gymnasium on Wednesday (Jan. 11) evening before Queens hits the road with a trip to the Nation's Capital in Washington, D.C. on Saturday (Jan. 14) afternoon as they match up against the Firebirds of the University of the District of Columbia. 
 
Following the road trip, the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College come to Flushing on Wednesday (Jan. 18) evening before Naumovski and her squad travel to Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. on Saturday (Jan. 21) afternoon with a match-up against the Mavericks of Mercy College
 
The month of January concludes in Flushing as the second half of the conference slate opens up. The Saints come to town on Friday (Jan. 27) evening before ending January against the Wildcats on Sunday (Jan. 29) afternoon. 
 
February opens with a two-game road stand as the Knights travel to Rockville Centre, N.Y. on Saturday (Feb. 4) afternoon against the Lions before a midweek trip to Staten Island, N.Y. sees Queens battle against the Dolphins on Wednesday (Feb. 8) evening. 
 
Naumovski and her squad will host only two conference games in February with the first one against the Firebirds on Saturday (Feb. 11) afternoon. It will be three road straight trips which includes a non-conference trip before traveling to Rochester, N.Y. on Saturday (Feb. 18) afternoon versus the Redhawks. 
 
The road trips conclude in Sparkill, N.Y. as the Knights face off against the Spartans in a midweek game on Wednesday (Feb. 22) evening. 
 
The regular season closes at home as the Knights host Senior Day on Saturday (Feb. 25) afternoon against the Mavericks. 
 
Postseason play begins with the first round on Wednesday (Mar. 1). While the semi-final will take place on Saturday (Mar. 4) and the final on Sunday (Mar. 5).
