WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – On Friday (May. 27) afternoon, the East Coast Conference office announced the 2022 Outdoor Track & Field team All-Conference honors, and the Queens College Outdoor Track & Field teams earned 12 All-Conference honors.
The Knights placed five on the First Team and seven on the Second Team honors.
Freshman
Diego Folgado (Madrid, Spain) earned First-Team Honors after finishing first in the Men's 200m with a time of 22.20. While senior
Steven Cuascut (Queens Village, N.Y.) concluded his collegiate career earning First Team honors as he finished first in the men's 10,000 m event with a time of 33:22.07.
Senior
Robert Skidmore (East Islip, N.Y.) placed second in the Discus throw with a throw of 39.12 for a total point of 128-4 to earn First Team honors to round out his career.
On the women's side freshman
Khareena Primus (St. Andrew, Grenada) earned First-Team honors as she finished second in the 200-meter dash with a career-best time of 25.26. Lastly, sophomore
Bianca Hiltz (Southwick, Mass) placed first with a distance of 10.68 in the triple jump to earn a First-Team selection spot.
On the Second Team All-Conference honors, Folgado saw his name called as he earned a third place finish in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 11.23.
Freshman
Fabian Tan (Forest Hills, N.Y.) placed fourth in the men's Javelin throw with a distance of 45.27 to earn Second-Team All-Conference honors.
On the women's side, Primus earned Second Team honors in the women's 100 Meter Dash as she placed third with a time of 12.44.
Lastly, the men's 4x100 Meter Relay team of freshman
Eric Oh (West Hempstead, N.Y.) freshman
Keith Hyland (Levittown, N.Y.), sophomore
Albert Wheeler (Mastic, N.Y.) & Folgado placed second in the 4x100 with a time of 44.57 to earn Second Team All-Conference honors.
