PHILADELPHIA, PA. – On Friday afternoon the Queens College men's and women's outdoor track relay teams competed in the 126
th annual historic Penn Relays hosted by the University of Pennsylvania at Shea Stadium.
The Knights went up against Division I teams such as Stony Brook University, UMBC, NJIT, Leigh University, Division II teams in Adelphi, Molloy, East Stroudsburg, and many more.
The Men's 4x100 relay team of freshman
Eric Oh (West Hempstead, N.Y.) Freshman
Diego Folgado (Madrid, Spain), freshman
Keith Hyland (Levittown, N.Y.) & Albert Wheeler (Mastic, N.Y.) and 4x400 team of Folgado, freshman
Daniel Fuzailof (Queens, N.Y.), junior
Myles Jackson (San Juan Trinidad and Tobago) and graduate student
Njehan Phillips (Brooklyn, N.Y.) qualified for the event.
While on the women's side, the 4x100 team of sophomore
Bianca Hiltz (Southwick, Mass), freshman
Khareena Primus (St. Andrew, Grenada), freshman
Jacklyn Diel (Stony Brook, N.Y.), and
Gabrielle Christian (Forest Hills, N.Y.) and the 4x400 team of Primus, Hiltz, Diel and freshman
Fatima Morrobel (Long Beach, N.Y.) qualified for the event.
The men's 4x100 team of Oh, Folgado, Hylander, and Wheeler placed 25
th with a time of 44.68. in the 4x400 event, the team of Folgado, Fuzailof, Jackson, and Phillips finished with a time of 3:38.09 to place 26
th.
In the women's 4x100, the team of Hiltz, Primus, Diel, and Christian would finish in 20
th with a time of 51.79. While in the 4x400, the team of Primus, Hiltz, Diel, and Morrobel would finish 18
th with a time of 4:33.09.
