M/W Outdoor Track & Field Teams Open Season at MSMC Invitational

MARLBORO, N.Y. – The Queens College men's and women's outdoor track and field team opened their season after two seasons as they competed in the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational hosted by Mount Saint Mary College at Marlboro High School Saturday afternoon. 
 
MSMC Highlights
  • Junior Myles Jackson won the men's 1500m with a time of 4:22.32. 
  • While freshman Natalia Cuttler (Islip, N.Y.) took first place in the women's 1500m with a time of 5:43.11
  • Queens would take first place in the men's 4x100 as the relay team of Diego Folgado (Gandia, Spain), Daniel Fuzailof (Queens, N.Y.), Eric Oh (West Hempstead, N.Y.), and Valeriy Borkun (White Plains, N.Y.) finished with a time of 3:39.31 
  • While the women's team of Bianca Hiltz (Southwick, Mass), Khareena Prims (St. Andrew, Grenada), Fatima Morrobel (Long Beach, N.Y.), and Jacklyn Diel (Stony Brook, N.Y.) placed first in the 4x400 with a time of 4:40.73.
  • In the women's 100 dash, Primus placed fourth with a time of 13.47.
  • In the men's 100 dash Folgado took third place with a time of 11.19. 
  • In the 200m dash, Primus placed second with a time of 27.05. 
  • In the men's discus throw, Robert Skidmore placed second with a throw of 34.94m. 
 
UP NEXT: Head coach Robert Davis and the Knights return to action on Sunday (Apr. 3) as they compete in the Coach Omeltchenko Invitational hosted by United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y.
