NEW YORK, N.Y. – On Tuesday (Dec. 20) morning, the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association announced the third weekly awards of the season, and Queens College women's basketball sophomore guard
Chelsea Reeves (Brooklyn, N.Y) has earned a honorable mention spot for the second week in a row.
Reeves who earned an
East Coast Conference Honor Roll spot on Monday (Dec. 19) afternoon has racked up four weekly award accolades in two weeks.
In their lone game of the week against the #10 ranked team in the Greyhounds of Assumption University, Reeves notched her second straight double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds to go with three assists, two steals, and one block.
The sophomore shot 75% from beyond the arc with three made three-pointers (season-high) to lead the offense.
