WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – On Monday afternoon, the East Coast Conference office announced that freshman forward Cecilia Lapertosa (Whitesboro, N.Y.) and Sunnie Diamond (Hiram, GA) earned a spot on the weekly basketball report sheet. 

Women's Basketball
 
Rookie of the Week – Cecilia Lapertosa (Whitesboro, N.Y.) | Forward
 
For the second time in three weeks, Lapertosa has earned ECC top rookie honors having been named Rookie of the Week on the third weekly award sheet.
 
The Whitesboro native posted two double-doubles in the Knights 2-1 week. The rookie began the week posting career-highs of 18 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists in the 74-60 victory over Bloomfield. She ended the week with a team-high 17 points, 10 rebounds, and career-high five steals in the 68-54 over Alliance. On the week Lapertosa averaged 14 PPG, 8.0 RBS, 2.3 APG, and 2.3 SPG.
 
Men's Basketball
 
Honor Roll – Sunnie Diamond (Hiram, GA) | Guard
 
For the third straight week, a Knights men's basketball player has earned a spot on the honor roll sheet. But for the second time in three weeks, Diamond has been named to the honor roll sheet. 
 
Diamond stole the show as the sophomore notched a triple-double of 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists in the comeback victory over Alliance Wednesday evening. Diamond posted the first triple-double by a Knight since the 15-16 season. The sophomore finished the week averaging 15.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists.
