FLUSHING, N.Y. – Having overcome a 20-point deficit before a buzzer-beater fell shot Thursday evening, the Queens College women's basketball team will look to rebound as they open a five-game stand away from Fitzgerald Gymnasium beginning with a trip to Bloomfield, N.J. Tuesday (Nov. 22) evening as they match up against the Bears of Bloomfield College.
The Knights will then head to Rockville Centre to compete in the Molloy Tip-Off Challenge as they match up against Alliance University on Saturday (Nov. 26) afternoon before concluding the Challenge against the Golden Falcons of Felician University Golden Falcons on Sunday (Nov. 27) afternoon.
Scouting the Knights
- The Knights are 0-3 to start the season and are coming off a 61-60 loss to Post University Thursday evening.
- Queens is averaging 53.7 points per game on 38.6% shooting, with 34.0 rebounds per game.
- Freshman Cecilia Lapertosa (Whitesboro, N.Y.) leads the offense averaging 10.0 PPG with a career-high 12 points.
