MSOC Armond Named ROTW; VB Franco Finds Spot on Honor Roll Sheet

WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – On Monday afternoon, the East Coast Conference office announced two Knights found a spot on the weekly award sheet for their respective sports.

Rookie of the Week – Finlay Armond (Sleaford, England) | Midfielder

The English native becomes the Knight to earn top rookie honors this season.

Armond tallied two goals on the week as the Knights went 1-1. The English native notched his first collegiate goal as the rookie tallied the game-winner in the 1-0 win over Georgian Court. He would respond with his second goal of the week as Queens looked for a comeback against Molloy Saturday evening in conference play.

Honor Roll – Christina Franco (Lynbrook, N.Y.) | OH
For the fourth time this season Franco has found a spot on the Conference Weekly award sheet.

The sophomore tallied her sixth double-double of the year as she notched 10 kills and 10 digs to go with 2 blocks and 2 service aces against Mercy in their lone match of the week.
