FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Queens College men's basketball team continues its show on the road as they travel to Bridgeport, CT with a matchup against the Purple Knights of the University of Bridgeport Thursday evening.
Thursday game is a makeup date from Sunday (Jan. 23) but it will be the Knights' fourth road game of the month. Queens will match up against Bridgeport for the 48
th time in program history with the Purple Knights leading the overall series 9-38. The Knights are 2-20 inside the Harvey Hubbell Gym with wins coming during the 2001-02 and 2016-17 seasons. Queens will be looking to end a three-game losing streak against Bridgeport with the last win coming on December 15, 2018.

The Knights were swept in the season series falling 65-92 in Flushing.
Scouting Queens College
Queens (5-5 overall, 3-3 ECC) last played on January 16 as they saw a three-game win streak snapped with a loss to Daemen.
As a team, Queens is averaging 70.3 points on 43.2 percent shooting, 43.3 rebounds, and 12.7 assists per game.
The Knights have three players averaging 10.0 points or more per game in conference play led by Junior
William Ellis(Valley Stream, N.Y.) who leads the offense averaging 11.0 points per game. While sophomore
Dion Herrington (Englewood, N.J.) and freshman
Jayden Seraphin (Lakeview, N.Y.) are averaging 10.7 and 10.2 points per game.
Against D'Youville Ellis posted a career-high 25 points to lead the Knights to a 78-64 victory and have seven double-digit performances on the season.
Since being inserted into the started lineup, Seraphin has posted three straight double-digit performances including a 14 point performance against D'Youville.
Seraphin was named ECC Rookie of the Week on
November 22.
Scouting University of Bridgeport
The Purple Knights (7-10 overall, 4-4 in ECC) are in the middle of a two-game losing streak. They play host to St. Thomas Aquinas College on Wednesday night before welcoming the Knights Thursday evening.
As a team, Bridgeport is averaging 77.4 points per game on 41.4 percent shooting while averaging 39.2 rebounds and 14.3 assists per game.
The offense is led by Tim Dawson averaging 14.6 points per game and has tallied 14 double-digit performances on the season. He tallied a season-high 25 points in the win over American International College on Jan. 13. While Mason Williams is averaging 12.2 points per game and has tallied three 20 point performances on the season including a season-high 28 points over College of Staten Island.
UP NEXT: Queens concludes January on the road as they wrap of their conference series against Molloy College on Saturday (Jan. 29) on the road in Rockville Centre, N.Y. The Knights won the first matchup back on Dec. 15 in overtime to the score of 76-68. Tip-off set for 2:00 p.m.
