FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Queens College women's basketball team concludes a three-game road trip at Dobbs Ferry as they match up against the Mavericks of Mercy College Wednesday evening. 
 
Both sides will match up for the 64th time in program history dating back to the first meeting during the 1987-88 season. The Knights lead the overall series 39-24, while on the road the Knights hold a 16-11 series lead. In their last 10 matches in Dobbs Ferry, Queens have been victorious seven times.

The Knights saw a four-game win streak snapped against Mercy as the Mavericks held on for a 62-57 victory. 
 
Scouting Queens College
 
The Knights went 1-1 in their Western New York trip as they defeated D'Youville but would fall to Daemen to conclude the trip. 
 
On the season Queen is averaging 66.1 points on 40.0 percent shooting, 42.1 rebounds, and 14.6 assists per game. 
 
In conference play, freshman Chelsea Reeves (Brooklyn, N.Y.) leads the Knights averaging 16.8, tied for fifth with Mavericks Katie Wall. On the season Reeves has posted seven double-digit performances. She posted 22 points in the win over D'Youville College. The Brooklyn native has been ECC Rookie of the Week twice this season. 
 
While freshman Jennah DeGout (Bronx, N.Y.) is averaging a near double-double with 9.8 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in ECC play. The Suffield Academy product leads the Knights averaging 8.9 rebounds per game with 89 rebounds on the season. DeGout was named ECC Player of the Week back on January 3.
 
Scouting Mercy College
 
Mercy (8-6 overall, 6-0 ECC) is off to their best season since the 1992-93 season and undefeated in conference play for the first time in program history. The Mavericks are one of two teams in the ECC that are still undefeated on the season. 
 
On the season, the Mavericks are averaging 64.6 points shooting 37.5 percent from the field with 41.6 rebounds and 12.5 assists per game. 
 
Wall leads the offense averaging 17.1 points per game and is coming off a career-high 28 points in the win over the District of Columbia. On the ECC weekly award sheet, she has been named Player of the Week and earned two honor roll spots on the season. 
 
While Taysha Bender is the second-leading scorer for the Mavericks averaging 15.3 points per game She tallied a career-high 26 points in the win over the District of Columbia. 
 
UP NEXT: Queens return home on Friday (Jan. 21) as they welcome defending ECC champions Roberts Wesleyan College Redhawks. Tip-off set for 5:30 p.m.
