FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Queens College women's basketball team opens a three-game road starting with a trip to Upstate New York. They will open the trip with a matchup against East Coast Conference newcomer D'Youville College Saints on Friday (Jan. 14) before concluding the trip on Sunday (Jan. 16) against Daemen College.
Friday's matchup against the Saints will be the first matchup in program history for both teams.
Sunday's matchup against Daemen will be the 15th overall match in program history and eighth in Amherst. The Knights hold a 9-5 series lead with a 4-3 record on the road. However, the Knights have fallen in their last five games against the Wildcats, with the last win coming during the 2017-18 season in Flushing. The last road win came on February 22, 2017, as Queens captured an 84-66 win against Daemen in Amherst.

Scouting Queens College
Still looking for their first win of the season, the Knights trek to Upstate New York. On the season Queen is averaging 67.6 points on 40.5 percent shooting, 43.3 rebounds, and 15.3 assists per game. But in their last two games, the Knights are averaging 79.5 points per game after being held to 67.6 points per game in their first seven games of the season.
Freshman Chelsea Reeves (Brooklyn, N.Y.) leads the Knights averaging 19.3 in conference play, third-highest in the conference, and has posted six double-digit scoring efforts on the season. The Brooklyn native posted a career-high 33 points against STAC on Saturday (Jan. 8) with nine rebounds to earn ECC Rookie of the Week honor for the second straight week on January 10.
While freshman Jennah DeGout (Bronx, N.Y.) tallied back-to-back doubles with 17 points and 12 rebounds against STAC. The Suffield Academy product leads the Knights averaging 8.8 rebounds per game. DeGout was named ECC Player of the Week back on January 3.
Scouting D'Youville College
D'Youville is 7-2 overall and 2-1 in conference play on the season. The Saints last played on December 19 when they defeated Staten Island 87-57 in conference action.
As a team, D'Youville is averaging 72.0 points per game on 35.6 percent shooting with 47.1 rebounds and 15.0 assists per game. The offense is led by Sara Pfeiffer who is averaging 20.6 points per game, while Anna Jankovic is averaging 13.7 points per game.
Pfeiffer has tallied double-digit performances in all eight games played with a career-high 40 points in the win over Bridgeport and is the most by an ECC player this season. She is second in scoring averaging 26.0 points per game in three games.
Anna Jankovic has tallied six double-digit performances on the season including posting three 20 points scores or more with a season-high 26 points in the win over Villa Maria. Jankovic was awarded ECC Rookie of the Week honors on Nov. 29.

The trip wraps up against 2020-21 NCAA East Region Champions Daemen College Wildcats on Sunday. On the season the Wildcats are 5-3 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
The Wildcats are averaging 69.8 points on 42.3 percent shooting with 37.8 rebounds and 15.3 assists per game. The offense is led by Katie Titus who has been named ECC Player of the Week three times this season. Titus is averaging 20.9 points per game overall and 26.7 points per game in conference (first in ECC). She has tallied seven double-digit performances on the season with a season-high 38 points in the win over Bridgeport on December 12.
