How it Happened
- The Knights never found a rhythm in the opening set as they fell to the score of 25-9.

- With the Knights leading 18-16, the Falcons went on a 4-0 run to retake the lead 20-18.
- Trailing 24-22, a kill by junior Genesis Soto (San Juan, Puerto Rico) would bring the Knights within one (24-23) before an attacking error put the Falcons in a commanding 2-0 set lead.
- Trailing 13-10, the Knights went on a 3-0 run to tie the third set.
- But the Knights were undone by five straight errors as the Falcons took an 18-13 lead before eventually running away with the match and sweeping the Knights in a 25-20 third set win.

- While sophomore Leila Hadjeb (Queens, N.Y.) tallied a career-high 20 digs and freshman Christina Franco (Lynbrook, N.Y.) notched 10 digs and three kills.

- Behind Arnkakis and Franco, the Knights went on a 5-0 run to stay ahead of the Raiders.
- Mitchell would give knot the match 1-1 with a service ace as Queens won 25-22 in the second set.
- But the inexperienced Knights would run out of gas as they were unable to continue the momentum falling 15-25 and 7-25 in the last two sets.
