Leonel Zelaya's (Amityville, N.Y.) who took home his first Rookie of the Week honors.
Meanwhile, junior goalie
Dario Cruz (Guadalajara, México) earned one of the honor roll spots.
Rookie of the Week
Following his game-winner in the 2-1 double-overtime win over Bentley University, Zelaya earned his first rookie of the week honors. The Amityville native scored his first goal of the season in the 104
th minute of the game as sophomore
Tobias Holtz (Sachseln, Switzerland) delivered a cross from 19 yards out to head home the winner.
Honor Roll
Cruz earned a spot on the weekly honor roll sheet after making nine saves against the Falcons. The Guadalajara native played 103 minutes to hold the Falcons to a lone goal as the Knights won a 2-1 overtime thriller against Bentley University.
UP NEXT: Continuing non-conference play, the Knights will travel to Philadelphia, PA on Wednesday (Sept. 15) as they go up against Holy Family University Tigers at 7 p.m.
