PROGRAM RECORD: Four Queens College Men’s Soccer Student-Athletes Earn D2CCA All-East Region Honors

FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced its 2024 All-East Region teams on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, and four Queens College men's soccer student-athletes earned regional recognition.
 
For the fourth consecutive season, a Queens College men's soccer player has received D2CCA All-Region honors. This year marks a new program record, with three Knights named to the First Team and one selected to the Second Team. Over the last four seasons, 11 Knights have garnered All-Region accolades.
 
Out of the 11 schools to earn All-Region honors, Queens was among the most represented, recording a program-high three First Team selections and standing as one of only four schools to have four student-athletes recognized overall.
 
Rookie forward Bradyn Brown (Lindenhurst, N.Y.), junior Andrew Johnson (Oakdale, N.Y.), and redshirt-junior defender Tommy Wagner (East Northport, N.Y.) earned First Team honors, while junior forward Miguel Soto Gonzalez (Madrid, Spain) was named to the Second Team.

Forward Bradyn Brown (Lindenhurst, N.Y.)

D2CCA Brown First Team
Fresh off earning East Coast Conference Rookie of the Year and All-ECC First Team honors, Brown adds another major accolade to an already historic debut season. He becomes the first freshman in program history to earn D2CCA All-Region recognition and just the third forward ever to receive the honor.
 
Brown appeared in 20 matches with 13 starts, recording a team-high 30 points on 13 goals, four assists, and four game-winning goals. His 30 points and 13 goals mark new single-season rookie records in program history.
 
Brown was the lone freshman to earn All-Region First Team honors.

Midfielder Andrew Johnson (Oakdale, N.Y.)

D2CCA Andrew Johnson First Team
Following his first All-ECC First Team selection, Johnson becomes the third consecutive Queens College midfielder to earn All-Region honors, joining former standouts Adolfo Martinez Paquet and his brother, Kevin Johnson.
 
Johnson played in 19 matches (11 starts) and posted career highs with six goals, one assist, and 13 total points.

Defender Tommy Wagner (East Northport, N.Y.)

11.24 MSOC Wagner All-Region First Team
The 2025 ECC Defensive Player of the Year and All-ECC First Team selection, Wagner becomes the fourth defender in program history to receive D2CCA All-Region honors.
 
He started all 19 matches, logging 1,613 minutes, and contributed one goal and one assist. Wagner helped anchor a defensive unit that produced five shutouts on the season.

Forward Miguel Soto Gonzalez (Madrid, Spain)

11.24 MSOC Soto Gonzalez All-Region Second Team
After earning All-ECC First Team honors, Soto Gonzalez adds All-Region Second Team recognition to cap a standout year.

The Madrid native started all 20 matches, totaling seven goals and a team-high 13 assists for 27 points. His 13 assists ranked second in the nation and second in program single-season history. He recorded two assists in four different matches.
 
Queens concluded the 2025 season with an overall record of 13-3-4 and a 6-0-2 mark in ECC play, capturing their second straight ECC Regular Season Title. On September 30, the Knights received votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll and appeared in the East Region Top 10 in eight of 10 weekly rankings.
