FLUSHING, N.Y. – After 652 days the Queens College men's and women's Indoor Track & Field program is looking ahead to a full schedule of events for the upcoming 2021-2022 season.
Leading the Knights in his fourth season, head coach
Robert Davis stated "Indoor season we are just trying to build and create a new culture with the team. We have been working hard this offseason, let's see if it pays off over the course of the full season."
The Indoor schedule features four events along with the East Coast Conference Championship slated to be held in late February.
The Knights will open the season at the Crowell Open 2021 hosted by Army West Point at the Gillis Field House on December 4 in West Point, N.Y. The Crowell Open will be one of three events that the Knights participate in hosted by Army West Point.
Following the first meet of the season, the Knights will have a month's break before traveling back to West Point to take part in the West Point Open on January 8.
For the next meet, Queens will travel to Staten Island, N.Y. to take part in the Spartan Invitational hosted by fellow ECC member St. Thomas Aquinas College at Ocean Breeze Complex on January 14.
In their final preparation before the ECC Championship, the Knights will return to West Point to compete in the West Point Tune-Up on February 19.
The East Coast Conference championship will take place on February 26 at Ocean Breeze Complex. Queens finished in fourth place on the men's side, while the women's side placed ninth at the 2020 Conference Championship.
