LAST TIME OUT
• The combined efforts of Madison, Merrick and MacKenzie Rowland lifted the second-seeded Queens College women's basketball team to its second consecutive East Coast Conference Championship over fourth-seeded Roberts Wesleyan, 60-54, at UDC Sports Complex.
• As she has done so often throughout her career, Madison led the Knights in scoring with 17 points and added 10 rebounds.
• MacKenzie was relentless near the hoop, scoring 16 points and grabbing a game-high 19 rebounds, while Merrick connected on three three-pointers on her way to scoring 13 points.
KNIGHTS EARN ALL-ECC HONORS
• Three members of the Queens College women's basketball team were named to All-East Coast Conference teams for their performances during the 2015-16 campaign.
• Junior Madison Rowland and red-shirt senior MacKenzie Rowland were First Team selections, while senior Kristen Korzevinski was a Third Team honoree.
• Mad. Rowland led the ECC in scoring with 20.2 points per game during the regular season.
• She averaged a near double-double per game with 9.6 per boards per outing, while her 4.52 steals per contest led both the ECC and the nation.
• Mac. Rowland was named to the First Team after back-to-back Second Team selections.
• She averaged 14.2 points per game during the regular season, and was one of four players to average a double-double per game, with her 11.4 boards per outing.
• Korzevinski posted a career-high 12.6 points per game during the regular season for the Knights, appearing in and starting 23 games.
MAC. ROWLAND EARNS NATIONAL PRAISE
• Red-shirt senior MacKenzie Rowland was named U.S. Basketball Writers Association Women's Division II National Player of the Week for the week ending February 28.
• This adds to Rowland's additional weekly honors of ECC Player of the Week and MBWA Women's Divisions II-III Honorable Mention.
• Rowland had a memorable weekend for the Knights, as she averaged 15.5 points, 17.0 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game, highlighted by an 18-point, 19-rebound and 10-assist triple-double in a 76-65 victory over Daemen on Sunday in the regular season finale.
• Rowland added 13 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists and four steals two nights earlier in a 72-49 win over Roberts Wesleyan.
DOUBLING UP
• As a team, the Knights have posted 27 double-doubles this season, led by red-shirt senior MacKenzie Rowland's 13.
• Rowland also contributed her second career triple-double in the regular season finale against Daemen.
• Junior Madison Rowland has 10 double-doubles, while senior Elisabeth Gully has four.
SISTERS x3
• After two seasons together, senior MacKenzie Rowland and junior Madison Rowland welcomed sister Merrick Rowland to the team in 2015-16.
• Merrick has appeared in 20 games, and is averaging 5.2 points.
• Rowland is averaged 4.9 ppg in conference games, and had her standout game of the season with 18 points, and six three-pointers against UDC on Feb. 4.
QC IN THE RANKINGS
• The Knights are ranked seventh in the most recent Division II regional ranking.
• After being 17th in the USA Today Sports Preseason Top 25, the Knights held its highest ranking of the season at 15th on December 1.
• The Knights earned a ranking of 11th in the Women's Division II Bulletin Preseason Top 25 Poll, while Rowland was named to the Super 16 All-American Team, representing the East region.

PRESEASON NUMBER ONE
• Fresh off their second-ever ECC title in the 2014-15 season, the Knights were selected as the favorite to win the conference championship once again this season.
• The conference's coaches also selected Madison Rowland as the Preseason Player of the Year.
• Rowland, the All-Met Division II Co-Player of the Year and East Coast Conference player of the Year, led the Knights, ECC and all of Division II in steals per game 4.3 for the second straight year a season ago.
• She led all sophomores in the country in scoring and finished ninth overall in Division II with 20.9 ppg.
• She had 18 double-doubles (13th in the nation) and was ranked in the top four in the ECC in scoring, steals, rebounds (9.9 rpg) and assists (4.1 apg).
