QUEENS, N.Y. - The Queens College women's tennis team fell to NYIT Saturday afternoon in the ECC Championship final by a score of 5-2.

The Knights held an early lead in the contest, takes to a pair of victories in doubles.  Cami Abdallah and Angelika Sobiecka posted an 8-3 win in 2nd doubles, while Frederike Borner and Anne Strating won 3rd doubles 8-4.

The Bears secured the final four points of the match in singles, earning two-set victories at No. 6, 4, 5, 1.

The Knights finished the fall season with a 9-2 overall mark and a 6-1 ECC record.  Queens now awaits a potential at-large bid to the NCAA Championship.
