OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. - The Queens College women's tennis team will hold the second seed in this weekend's ECC Championship after falling to NYIt 6-3 in its regular season finale.  NYIT claims the regular season championship by virtue of the win.

In doubles play, the duos of Angelika Sobiecka and Line Sorsdahl Aasen (2nd) and Frederike Borner and Nakia Miller (3rd) picked up win for the Knights for the early lead.  In singles play, Sumeera Kamil picked up a victory in 1st singles.

As the second seed, QC will take on third seeded UDC Friday afternoon at 2:00 pm in the tournament hosted by Queens.
