Goffstown, N.H. - The Queens College women's tennis team stayed perfect in the spring, improving to 3-0, with a 7-2 drubbing of #8 Southern New Hampshire on Saturday in Goffstown, New Hampshire. The Knights are 14-2 overall and 9-1 in their last ten contests.
QC won a pair of points in doubles as the team of Darby Brandon and Anna Rodionova won their match, 8-0. The second point came from Jenifer Fridman and Andrea Samson, who won via default.
In singles play, the Knights dominated and won five of the six points available. Yevgenia "Jenna" Plevako didn't drop a game en route to a love and love win. Fridman was victorious, 6-3, 6-3. Andrea Samson continued her torrid play with a 6-2, 6-0 tirumph. Brandon dominated her match, 6-1, 6-0. Rodionova won via default.
The Queens College women's tennis team continues its New England road trip when it faces Stonehill College on Sunday. The first serve is slated for noon.
