Queens, N.Y. - It was another outstanding performance for the Queens College women's tennis team on Saturday, as they blanked the Daemen College Wildcats, 9-0, in a match played on the tennis courts in Flushing.  With the win, the Knights improved to 5-1 overall.

Once again, Queens dominated the doubles flights, as they were victorious in all three matches in straight sets, dropping just one game in total.  The combination of Aylin Mehter and Jenna Plevako won, 8-1.  The second position saw Darby Brandon and Jennifer Fridman win, 8-0, while Andrea Samson and Anna Rodionova dominated their match, 8-0, as well.

In singles play, Weronika Kurka made a rare appearance in the first position, and she won easily, 6-3, 6-2.  Plevako won her match, 6-0, 6-0; while Mehter and Samson triumphed by the same love and love score.  Finally Brandon and Kim Xiong closed out play with a pair of 6-0, 6-0 wins.
