Flushing, N.Y. (September 16, 2012) - The Knights women's tennis team battled with ECC foe, the University of the District of Columbia for a 6-3 victory on Sunday afternoon.

In Doubles, the Knights once again cruised to a 3-0 lead. In Singles, Francesca Fanchin, Anna Rodionova and Daniela Celi earned the three victories needed to clinch the match. Fanchin defeated Krystyna Nepivodova in straight sets (6-3, 6-4) and Rodionova also won in straight sets (6-2, 6-1).

The Knights return to the tennis court on the road at ECC opponent NYIT on Tuesday September 18^th at 2 PM.
