The Queens College Knights women's basketball team beat the visiting Dowling Golden Lions by 13 Saturday night. The win improves the Knights record to 4-7 (3-1 ECC) while Dowling with the loss falls to 3-5 (2-3 ECC).
Three different Knights found themselves in double digits in tonight's win versus Dowling. For the eleventh time this season, junior, Amanda Bartlett led the Knights and all scorers with 23 points. Bartlett used an 8-19 effort from the field and was 5-9 from three as well as grabbing 8 rebounds to aid the Knights in their win. Senior guard, Christine Harnischfeger added 15 points and 3 steals and Jessica Fairweather also joined the action adding 13 points of her own in 21 minutes of work.
The win keeps Queens in a tie for 2nd in the ECC with CW Post with a record of 3-1 in conference play. The Knights are now off until December 30th when they return to action to take on conference foe, St. Thomas at 5pm at home.
